Contributor

Jacqueline Breen is a radio journalist and life enthusiast from Sydney. She works primarily as an overnight reporter in the ABC's emptied radio newsroom and likes to try and sleep in her spare time. She produces content for FBi Radio's features and documentary shows, really likes foggy days by the sea, and starts most sentences with 'I was just listening to this really cool podcast...'

When was the first time you remember identifying as a feminist?
Earning a spot on the soccer team in Year 5. There weren't any girls on the team, and I thought that was uncool. I didn't even really like soccer, but I liked gender imbalance even less.
Girls to the Mic is a joint initiative of the Digital Radio Project and Community Radio Network at the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia
